SAOMAD angular centres: proven tradition
The SAOMAD angular centres stem from the experience and will to innovate that the company has always championed. The different production requirements and the increasingly competitive markets – especially in the wooden door and window sector – call for considerable flexibility and versatility.
Titanium, Operator and Sintesi are the three solutions that meet the requirements of door and window manufacturers seeking compact, durable and easy to use angular centres.
Titanium
Among the company’s angular centres, Titanium is the one that best represents SAOMAD’s experience in the production of wooden door and window manufacturing systems.
Thanks to its next generation technology and a clamping system that allows to automatically calculate the sizes of the pieces to be processed, Titanium can reduce processing time and ensure very high productivity levels.
The high flexibility of the spindles in tenoning and profiling, the extreme ease of use and the total covering of the machine to reduce noise and to increase safety make this machine a leader in its sector.
With Titanium it is possible to:
- Work 2 pieces at a time. The axis interpolation system allows to perform +/- 60° tilted tenons and to keep the single piece positioned constantly perpendicular to the machine
- Profile the single piece taking into account the pneumatic counterguide giving the chance to process using all 3 spindles simultaneously, so as to create multiple profiles
- Profile sashes using 3 spindles simultaneously
- Square up to 600 mm wide sashes thanks to a carriage that holds the sash in place
- Use the Tenoning unit with pantograph: the Titanium + Pantograph solution allows to perform all tenoning and drilling operations in one single work cycle
- Insert various types of hardware elements thanks to the work cycles or macros of the pantograph already entered into the machine’s program
- Have 1 or 2 interchangeable spindles with overhead crane system and cone bearing trolley

Operator
The Operator line of angular centres are supplied in the configurations most suited for the specific final user needs, offering the chance to produce in batches or in sequence all of the various elements of a window or door regardless of how large the quantities ordered or of the dimensions of the pieces to be processed.
The strengths of Operator machines are very high flexibility, ease of use, durability and compact size, all of which run by immediately intuitive and easy to use software.
The main features of this machining centre are the following:
- The sliding of the tenoning carriage is based on integral linear double recirculating ball bearing guides that provide very high precision levels, durability and long-lasting reliability
- End-trim saw with pneumatic vertical top-down positioning so as to achieve +/- 60° tilted tenons and to guarantee greater safety
- Tenoning spindle 50 mm in diameter, 320 mm long with computer-driven vertical continuous axis advancement. Maximum tool diameter 320 mm; standard 7.5 kW motor
- It is possible to execute tilted tenons via the +/- 60° tilting of the fence
- Advancement of the piece on the profiling side via a sturdy system consisting of two rubber wheels with adjustable air pressure
- Simultaneous squaring of the sash on the tenoning side and of the transom on the profiling side
- Thanks to a special hanging jointed arm, the control panel can be set in any working position during operation which allows to change programs, data and parameters with the machine running

Sintesi
Sintesi is undoubtedly the angle machining centre that best meets the needs of today’s market, flexible in its production as it can be adapted to the customer’s requirements thanks to its various optional extras, equipped with a mouveable control panel thanks to a hanging structure it allows maximum convenience for the operator who can position it at will, it also allows on-line dialogue.
The tenoning carriage is equipped with linear guides with a high-precision, robust and reliable sliding system, which is also made possible by an excellent lubrication system. The double work cycle allows tenoning from both sides, optimizing productivity times.
Furthermore, The piece stopping device is placed on the table to obtain a simple using and more safety during working phases.
This angle machine is equipped with a pneumatically controlled vertical top-down positioning saw to reduce noise and for greater safety.
Another possibility that our Sintesi corner allows is inclined tenons thanks to the inclination of the support rail.
Automatic introduction of the piece from the tenoning side to the profiling one brings a lot of advantages thanks to this automatic passage are numerous:
- Reduced movement of the piece for the operator
- Higher production: when the piece is inside of the profiling side, the operator can work other pieces in the tenoning part
- Avoided mistakes in introductions of the pieces
- Simple use of the machine and quickness in working processes
