After a few years of absence from our stand, we wanted a come-back in style to the French market by bringing solutions that would attract the attention of visitors and exhibitors alike.
“The turnout was large, from the first to the last day. The position of the stand was also ideal, right in the Fair’s central square”says Claudio Filippi, the sales director. “The machines we presented created a queue of visitors eager to see the processing simulations”.
Kairos, an innovative solution for the wooden houses sector
Eurobois 2020 was the ideal occasion for the absolute debut of Kairos, the new machine for processing the structural beams, roofs, ceilings and walls of timber houses. It has a universal powerhead (max. 30 kW in S6) that guarantees a very wide processing range and state-of-the-art solutions.
Kairos has a total-seal cabin for collecting dust and reducing sound emission, and a conveyor belt for the elimination of shavings and scraps that provides for better cleanliness. It has been designed to produce single beams ranging from 40 to 600 mm, and X-lam partitions ranging in width from 30 to 1,300 mm and of 18,000 mm maximum length.
“Kairos was the only machine with this capacity. No wonder it attracted attention” Claudio Filippi adds. “It’s an innovative solution for the timber house sector, a market niche that is constantly growing. The competition is very strong, but Kairos has all the cards to win the market”.
Woodpecker Just 3500, synthesis of experience, flexibility and ease of management
The second machine on display was the Woodpecker Just 3500, a CNC work centre designed for the flexible, easy and economical production of pre-finished doors and windows. It is a robotic cell capable of working unattended, allowing the operator to dedicate time to other activities.
The Woodpecker Just 3500 is equipped with a large number of independent units for drilling holes, milling, tenoning and profiling, thus allowing to create the most varied types of doors and frames present on the international wooden doors and windows market.
“The Just 3500 is not a new machine, but it has been perceived as such because many were seeing it at work for the first time. The crowd of visitors included both medium-small manufacturers as well as large industrial entities. The Woodpecker Just 3500 is capable of offering considerable benefits to both: flexibility, autonomy, very high processing speed, extreme precision and high profitability”.
